"The days are numbered!" Oprah Winfrey speaks at the Globes all women from the soul

The Golden Globes 2018 were in the grip of strong women. As a protest against the sexual assaults that shook the film industry, especially in the last year, almost all Hollywood actresses took position in which they wore black. Including Oprah Winfrey, which also provided for the most memorable appearance of the evening. The 63-year-old was honored for her lifetime achievement on Sunday and celebrated the moment with a militant speech.

"A new age is breaking!"

Winfrey thanked all the brave women who broke their silence in the course of the #Metoo movement to sexual assault and thus have attracted attention. For it is this attention that will lead to changes. Nobody should have to say "Me Too" in the future.

I want all girls today to know that a new age is dawning on the horizon. For too long, women were not listened to, or not believed, if they had the courage to rebel against the power of men. But their days are numbered!

Under roaring standing ovations reminiscent of the entertainer, which has been advocating civil rights movements for decades, but also on the issue of equal rights? especially for the black population.

So she sat with her mother in front of the TV, as director and actor Sidney Poitier was awarded in 1964 with an Oscar for Best Actor. "He wore a tie and of course he was black, and I'd never known a black man be celebrated like him before."

18 years after his Oscar success, Poitier finally received a Golden Globe for his life's work.

I realize that today there will be some little girls who are experiencing the same price as the first black woman today.

But it was not just Oprah Winfrey that made the Golden Globes 2018 special. Even colleague Natalie Portman could not resist a small, but fine, side thrust.

She entered the stage of The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles as the presenter to award the Best Director Award. and commented, "And here are all the male nominees".

A small statement with which she obviously hit the mark? and for which the 36-year-old was rightly celebrated. Producer Shonda Rhimes tweeted: "Natalie Portman calls the child by name" and Kollegien Evan Rachel Wood called her a "damn heroine".
