Tom and Jerry: The popular cartoon enemies come to the movies

If the names "Tom and Jerry" fall, many an adult will instinctively hum the title song "Many thanks for the flowers" by Udo Jürgens - at least who grew up in Germany. The unlikely cartoon enemies, who made their first hunt in this country in 1976, are soon to make the leap onto the big screen. That reports the US side "Variety" anyway. According to the film studio Warner Bros. should be responsible for the project.

Speaking of drawing: The planned film is only partially an animation. Instead, according to the report, animation and real shots are mixed together - probably similar to what it was already the case in 1988 in the film "Wrong game with Roger Rabbit" the case. In addition, the studio is already in negotiations with Tim Story (48), who has already made movies like "Ride Along" and "Fantastic Four" on film. Shooting starts for "Tom and Jerry" in the coming year.
