Axl Rose: That's why he scolds US President Donald Trump

Rihanna, 30, and Guns N 'Roses frontman Axl Rose, 56, are opposed to US President Donald Trump, 72, using her music at political events. The two stars commented independently on Twitter on Sunday.

Rihanna

Rihanna was notified by Philip Rucker of NBC News that her song "Do not Stop the Music" by Trump was used at an event. The journalist wrote on Twitter about a presidential appearance in Chattanooga, Tennessee. There was apparently the hit of the 30-year-olds. The singer replied: "Not for long ... I or my people would never appear at one of those tragic rallies, so thanks for the info, Philip!"

Axl Rose

Even Axl Rose is not happy that Trump plays songs by Guns N 'Roses like "Sweet Child O' Mine" at political events. In a series of tweets, he accused the president of using "loopholes" to avoid obtaining permission from songwriters.

"GNR, like many other artists, have resisted the unauthorized use of their music at political events," the singer wrote. They would have asked that their music not be played at Trump events or events that support Trump, he tweeted. "Unfortunately, Trump's people use loopholes in the licenses of their respective venues, which were not intended for such crass political purposes."

Rose added, "Personally, I like the irony of Trump supporters listening to some anti-Trump songs at its events, but I can not imagine many of them really getting it or taking care of it." The band felt like they needed to take a stand, Rose said.

Basically everybody can hear their music, the singer continues, one can not choose his fans. His personal opinion, however, is that Trump's government pities the country. If people do not wake up now and finish this nonsense, they all have to pay a high bill for it after some time, the artist is sure.

Pharrell Williams and Co.

Before the tweets of Rihanna and Axl Rose, Trump also had trouble with Pharrell Williams (45). The hip-hop star even sent him a warning letter via his lawyer, "The Hollywood Reporter" reported. The reason: Just a few hours after a gunman shot dead eleven people in a synagogue in Pittsburgh, Trump had appeared at an event to the sound of Pharrell Williams' song "Happy". Without the permission of the star - and his feeling without any sense of filial piety.

Williams then prohibited Trump any further use of any of his songs for future appearances, otherwise he would initiate steps for copyright and trademark infringement, it goes on. Also other music greats like Steven Tyler (70) from Aerosmith, the band R.E.M. and the remaining members of the Queen group have already banned the President from using their music for their own purposes without being asked.
