Guido Maria Kretschmer reveals his ultimate styling rules

When it comes to the perfect outfit, each of us raises the question: What is perfect for me? We all have different sizes, types of figures and tastes. What one person does not automatically stand for the other. So how do we find the perfect garments? We know it!

Okay, okay. Actually, we do not have the answer, but designer Guido Maria Kretschmer. He has just launched his first Plus Size collection with Otto. For the designer, the most important thing - regardless of whether it is a plus size or not - is an inventory. "Just stand in front of the mirror and look at what's on me, what are my strengths and what would I like to show? You can not join every style, but if you have nice legs, you should build a look about it" advises the designer.

Combinations that are taken from us

But please do not blindly grab in the closet: "Combine everything so that you take it off one If I'm a sporty woman, then I have to have a sporty look and of course hands off these mum-looks!" Guido Maria Kretschmer is not a fan of loose dresses that make us look more like a sack of potatoes than a female woman.

Instead, he believes that especially women with curves should emphasize their curves. Emphasize curves and play around the weak points - that is the motto of the designer. His tip: Simply show that you have shape, because no woman can hide it permanently. We should not restrict ourselves too much. "The most important thing is that you experience cosiness, life is too short to be around." Where he is right, he is right.

"I would always take the most stylish"

When styling Guido advises to play with different fabrics and materials. The reason: it creates structures. Smooth and dull, light and dark or coarse and gentle. And if you are not sure, then just let yourself be advised while shopping in the store. But do not take any saleswoman here. "I would always take the most stylish," says Guido.

Sounds simple, but in reality it is often not. But then you should always keep one in mind: "Actually, fashion knows no size or limits, it knows only the fear not to try."
