Prince Charles and Camilla: So traditional ended the visit of the royals in Bavaria

Prince Charles (70) and Duchess Camilla (71) completed their four-day visit to Germany and flew back to the UK from Munich. On Friday, the couple Upper Bavaria had paid a very traditional visit.

So Charles was guided through the Herrmannsdorfer Landwerkstätten in Glonn, where he was able to follow his passion for organic farming. As a matter of fact, Charles is supposed to reserve an appointment for organic farms in almost every country he visits.

Prince Charles took a lot of time

Between pasture, pig and chicken coop, biogas plant and beekeeping, the prince was led across the farm and informed himself comprehensively. He also examined a honeycomb and held a chicken in his arms, as can be seen on the Twitter account of the British Embassy in Germany. Around noon, his wife Camilla, who had visited the IMMA initiative in Munich in the morning, helped the girls and women who had experienced domestic violence.

The Duchess was shown by the children of the Hermannsdorfer Hof, how to bake a Bavarian pretzel and formed in the second attempt even a fairly professional. At the court, the Royals also met the Bavarian Minister of Agriculture Michaela Kaniber (41) and Landtag President Ilse Aigner (54), who also presented them a gift - a blue and white striped shirt - for the newborn grandson Archie. Did that come to the giant ham, which was handed over to the couple at one of the stalls? There, the royals tasted regional products - including a fruit schnapps.

Charles says "hello"

The night before, Charles and Camilla were received by Prime Minister Markus Söder (52) for a state banquet in the residence after a dance in the Hofbräuhaus. The prince of Wales surprised us with a small speech, which he delivered in German - including a "hello" greeting and "staying healthy".
