Corinna Rückert writes erotic stories for women
There's this joke, "Why do women always watch porn to the end, because they're waiting for the wedding?" So far, so wrong, says Corinna Rückert. The cultural scientist wrote her doctoral thesis on women pornography. And, for example, found out that women and men have very similar wishes when it comes to porn.
Both are about watching people having sex, including groaning and genital close-ups. The sexual fantasies differ only in the perspective: In the usual mainstream porn, the woman is the object of desire in the center. "You can also simply turn the tables over," explains Rückert, pulling an illustrated book from photographer Charlotte March out of her bookshelf. On most photos a young man lolls naked on the beach. "He is the photographer's object of desire," she comments as she leafs. The counterpart to the Playboy Bunny, then.

Completely relaxed, the scientist chats in her Lüneburg living room about SM-fantasies and oral sex. No wonder, she has spotted countless porn in the last few years, read books and attended relevant fairs. She is an expert in a field that many women prefer to avoid.
Her main concern is not to demonize porn. Why should not they be part of the female lust? In surveys she found out what women want: dim light, attractive performers and elaborate equipment. In addition, women's plausibility is important. You do not necessarily want to be told a nice story. But there should be at least one convincing reason why people in the movie now have sex. "What most people do not want is this typical porn situation: A woman comes to the garage and bang, right? Ideal would be a story like "Pretty Woman", only with sex scenes.

During her research, Corinna Rückert quickly realized that there is hardly any sophisticated pornography to buy in Germany besides cheap mass-produced goods. "The quality of most films is just grotty." Without further ado, she herself turned a porno to put the results of her work into practice. The cast looked for her by ad. "Incredible, what we got there for communications." Some applicants immediately sent photos of their penis.
The result of the shoot is called "The Birthday Gift". In the movie, a man gets a brisk threesome from his girlfriend for his birthday. There is little talk, but the three have a lot of sex. "The movie does not hit me, it finally failed because of the actors," she said.
Meanwhile, Corinna Rückert has moved to writing. She describes her narrative volume "Lustschreie" as hardcore pornography. Whether one finds this now erotic, is a matter of taste. "These are not my own fantasies that I write down," emphasizes the author. Her eroticism for women reads like this:

In the stories, it's pretty down to business. As couples celebrate orgies, a woman can be seduced by a stranger in the steam room. The author is not afraid to name things by name. "It's usually the case that you do not talk about certain practices, but let's face it: which woman has blimp sex all her life?"
Corinna Rückert does not accept the common prejudices against pornography. Porn does not automatically disdain women or instigate rape. They show sexual fantasies, not a reflection of reality. As an example, she calls a classic scene: The postman rings, a woman in negligee opens the door and looks seductive. "I want to see a man who does not run away screaming."
Why women's rights activists like Alice Schwarzer demand a porn prohibition, she can not understand. "That's the wrong way." Instead of worrying about the trash that would often be sold as pornography, one should rather make better porn. "We women have so much power, we could change that much." Corinna Rückert is already there. At the moment she is working on new narratives. The title of the volume: "He moans, she moans."
