Stick together four papers with tape on the back to form a large square - preferably along the entire length.

Fold all four corners to the middle. Always trim the edges with your fingernail.

Now fold two pages along the middle. Turn around.

Fold the two narrow sides to the middle as well. Turn around.

Now unfold the paper. There are two small triangles pointing upwards.

At these small corners pull until the sides are folded out of each other.

Fold the pages (see arrows on the left) inwards - left ...

... and right, so that two corners arise.

Fold over the large point and tighten the edges with the fingertips.

Repeat on the other side and fix the tips on the floor with a piece of adhesive tape.

For the bottom of the box you need a smaller base square. Simply cut off on each side of each of the four squares about 5 mm (marked pink) and then glue together.

Done is a small box of paper! From only one square you can fold very small boxes.

Finished are the pretty gift boxes! 24 boxes and numbered adhesive dots make a great advent calendar.
