This is how selfies affect your psyche

Whether in front of the Eiffel Tower, on the beach or at home on the couch: selfies become practical always and all over shot.

In a study by the University of Ohio, scientists have already shown that selfie lovers - especially men - have a penchant for narcissism and psychopathy. Uff. Of course you do not like to hear that as an eager poser.

You are also a fan of "Hello, here I am" - pictures? Then let the following study melt on your tongue! She could make you feel comforted again.

In a study from the University of California, 41 students were assigned to take a few photos for a week. Group 1 participants should take selfies to smile at, Group 2 should shoot a good mood and Group 3 should take pictures of them other Made happy.

Selfies make you happy!

The result of the study: The selfie group was more self-confident and happy after the photo week. However, the other two groups were also positively influenced. Among other things, the participants of group 2 were more appreciative and those of group 3 more stress-resistant.

Although this study had only 41 participants and thus can not really be representative, the result spurs on even more selfies, right?
