Surprising statement! Angelina speaks for the first time about the separation from Brad Pitt

She has been silent for a long time and at the most speak about her spokesman. But now Angelina Jolie finally breaks her silence and expresses for the first time the separation from still-husband Brad Pitt.

As part of a promo tour for her new movie "First They Killed My Father" in Cambodia, the 41-year-old responded to a BBC journalist who asked her about the alleged incident in a private jet. Last September, Brad Pitt was accused of shouting and beating his adoptive son Maddox in alcohol and drug abuse. Jolie then separated from him and filed a divorce just days later.

But even if the former Hollywood dream couple is history, so they want to hold together as a family well. Faint-hearted and struggling with tears, she said: "I do not want to say much about it except that it was a very difficult time and we are a family, we will always be a family, we will get over this time and hopefully become a stronger family."

But she did not want to explain why it ultimately came to separation: "Many people go through such situations, my whole family has gone through hard times, my focus is on mine, on our children." By the way, her children also supported her mother on that day. For the first time since the official separation of their parents, they accompanied Jolie to a public appearance.

So it remains to be hoped that Jolie and Pitt will be able to end their Rose War soon, so that their six common children finally come to rest again.
