Avengers: Endgame: The movie has broken another record
With over 50 million tweets, "Avengers: Endgame" has set another record: The epic has been the tweeting film since Thursday. This was announced on the account "Twitter Movies" - together with a gif, on the Thor beaming with joy "Yes!" calls.
In first place is none of the Avengers
Twitter is not dominated by an Avenger, but by the super villain himself: Thanos is in first place - about him was the most tweeted. He is followed by Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and Hulk. Only then follows the next (former) villain Loki.
In the first few days, the film played 1.2 billion US dollars worldwide - thus the strip had already set the record for the highest turnover start weekend. Of the most successful movie of all time "Avengers: Endgame" is still a bit removed. In first place is still "Avatar - departure to Pandora" (2009), which could bring in about 2.8 billion US dollars. This is followed by Titanic (1997) and Star Wars: The Awakening of Power (2015).
