Rob Delaney: After the stroke of fate he became a father again

US comedian Rob Delaney (41) and his wife Leah have become parents for the fourth time. This is what the Catastrophe star has revealed in a recent interview with The Sunday Times Magazine. The child had already been born in August. At the end of June, Delaney had announced that they were expecting another child.

In the interview, the 41-year-old explains that his new son is "magical" for him and his wife, but that the birth of his fourth child can not hide the pain he still experiences today through the death of his son Henry.

He had to say goodbye to his child

In February the comedian had announced the bad news that Henry had died at the age of two and a half years. On Facebook, Delaney said at the time that a brain tumor had been found in his son in 2016. However, after a successful operation in 2017, the cancer returned "last fall and died in January."

When asked how he is, the other person often implies that this is a stupid question. This is not the case, as he explains in the interview - at least not if you are willing to hear an honest answer. "The answer is that my heart hurts, okay?" Delaney explains.

"I had some difficulty getting up today and I cried before I picked myself up, and then I had a coffee, played with my other kids, said hello to my wife, and then I felt better." Later he often gets worse again. Delaney, however, loves the question, because sometimes he feels "like a balloon about to burst" and if he can talk about his dead son, it is as if some of the pressure is released. "It's like a present."

His new son and Henry also associate something very special: Henry is said to have been the first person shortly before his death, the Rob and Leah Delaney have told that they get a child again.
