Oprah Winfrey: Her mother Vernita died at the age of 83

TV and movie star Oprah Winfrey (64, "The Color Purple") wears mourning. On November 22nd, US Thanksgiving holiday, Winfrey's mother, Vernita Lee, died at the age of 83. This reports, among other things, the page "Page Six", referring to the speaker of the 64-year-olds.

According to the report, the funeral had already taken place privately in Lee's native Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The family moved there from Mississippi in 1954, when Oprah Winfrey was six years old. Lee's only son, Jeffrey, died of AIDS in 1989 and her other daughter, Patricia, died in 2003 due to her drug addiction.
