Knit Pear Sweater - a guide
Instructions for a pear sweater in size S / M / L
Time spent: 22 hours.
Difficulty: light.
Material: 550/600/650 g light blue Fb 0074 "Kim" (68% virgin wool, 29% alpaca, 3% polyester, length 50 m / 50 g) by Lang Yarns. Knitting needles Nos. 7 and 8 (if you knit loosely) or 8 and 9 (if you knit tight). It is important that you come to the information in the mesh sample.
Note: It is possible that the given wool can not be bought anymore. In this case, you are looking for a similar quality. Please note the specified run length and do a stitch test!
Federal pattern (BM): with a thin needle: 1 st, 1 st in alternation.
Pear pattern (PM): with thick needle: knit 1 st on the right, 1 st on the left, in each of the following sts.
Mesh test (PM): 8 M x 14 R = 10 x 10 cm.
Back: Cast on 39/42/45 sts and knit 11 cm in BM, continue in PM. Mark the beginning of the armholes 33/32/30 cm from BM on both sides. 16/17/19 cm from the marking of the armhole at the same time work the shoulders and the neckline: for the shoulders bind off on both sides in each 2nd 4 x 3/3 x 3 and 1 x 4/2 x 4 and 2 x 3 sts. For the neckline, close the middle 7/8/9 sts and put them on both sides in every other 2 x 2 sts.

elaboration: Close the shoulder seams and pick up the disused M in the PM with the thinner needle at the neckline, pick up 8 sts in the same pattern = 38/40/42 sts total, work 4 rounds in the PM, then bind off all sts loosely. Close the side seams. Close the sleeve seams and sew in the sleeves.
