Instructions for a cap and a scarf with ribbed pattern

CAP (head circumference 45/50/55 cm):

Material: 50/50 / 100g Fb 12 "Rialto Aran" (100% Merino, LL 80m / 50g) by Debbie Bliss, a short circular needle size 5, a double pointed needles size 5

Note: It is possible that the given wool can not be bought anymore. In this case, you are looking for a similar quality. Please note the specified run length and do a stitch test!

Ribbed pattern (RM): 1st round: left M., 2nd to 5th round: right M., 6th round: left M., 7th round: right M., Repeat 1st to 7th round always.

Knitting tension:15 sts x 26 rounds = 10 x 10 cm

Manual: Cast on 56/60/64 sts, close to the round and knit in the RM. 22/23/24 cm from the stop, spread the sts on the needle game (= 14/15/16 sts per needle) and in each 3rd round knit the first and the last two sts of each needle until 4/3 / 4 sts on each needle, then tighten all sts with end thread.



SCARF (15 x 120 cm):

Material: 150 g Fb 12 "Rialto Aran" (100% Merino, LL 80 m / 50 g) by Debbie Bliss, knitting needles No. 5

Ribbed pattern (RM): 1st row: left M., 2nd row: right M., 3rd row: right M., 4th row: left M., always repeat 1st to 4th row.

Knitting tension: 15 sts x 26 rounds = 10 x 10 cm

Manual: Cast on 23 sts and knit in RM. Cast off all sts 120 cm from the stop. Make 4 pompoms with a diameter of about 4.5 cm and sew one at each corner of the scarf.
