Fast DIY projects with nail polish

It does not always take many tools or materials to implement a creative project. If you are looking for an extraordinary gift or would like special details for your home, you will find the ingredients for a small crafting action in the bathroom: All projects presented can be done with nail polish, some in a few minutes, for others it needs a little more patience. Even refined marbling is possible with nail polish.

The first step that everyone has in common is to pick out several colorful nail polishes that you like. The second step: Decide which DIY guide you want to start with. Colorful thumbtacks or decorated keys, if you have little time and fast. If you have a little more leisure, you can dare on marbled buttons, bowls and paper.



Colorful thumbtacks

Can a tinkering be simpler? Nevertheless, the result is surprising. What you need: Thumbtack and colorful nail polish. The easiest way to paint the pins with nail polish, if you put them in a pin board, in a piece of plasticine or Styrofoam. With the brightly painted thumbtacks you can spice up the office in a jiffy. Just as easy to do and even suitable for hobbyists with two left hands: nail polish painted keys. Choose your favorite paint and paint on it! Lacquers with rich colors and glitter varnish are best suited. Apply so much layers until you are satisfied with the result. Thus, door, apartment and cellar keys can be colored. Now it gets a bit trickier? For this project you need in addition to colorful nail polish also clear coat (for example, colorless base coat), white nail polish, a small cup of lukewarm water, a wooden skewer, a spray bottle full of water and furniture or wardrobe buttons. In the first step you paint the button with the colored nail polish. Then drop 5 to 6 drops of white nail polish into the water. Spray water into the beaker until the white nail polish divides into marble-like. Then dip the button into the cup and hold it in the water for about 20 seconds. While the button is still under water, collect the remaining white nail polish with the wooden skewer from the water. If there are no traces of nail polish left in the water, pull out the button. What you need: a bowl full of lukewarm water, toothpicks or wooden skewers, colorful nail polish, rubber gloves and white bowls. Drop colorful nail polish into the water bowl and mix with a wooden skewer or toothpick to a marble pattern. Then dip one of the bowls (preferably with the rubber gloves) into the water and "roll" them over the water surface until the color sticks in a marble pattern on the bowl. When the paint has dried, the marbled bowl is a great decoration. Seen at enjoy it.

You may already be thinking of how this DIY project works. You need a bowl of lukewarm water to fit your paper, toothpicks or wooden skewers, colorful nail polish, rubber gloves and paper sheets. As with the previous two projects, you need to drip the nail polish into the water, stir? and then place a paper sheet on the water surface. Pull it out and set it aside to dry.
