Departure to the Moon: The space film opens the Venice Film Festival

The 75th Venice International Film Festival, to be held from August 29th to September 8th, will open with "Departure to the Moon," Universal Pictures has announced. The story of a hero

"Depart for the Moon" tells the story of legendary astronaut Neil Armstrong (1930 - 2012), who is personified by Gosling. It gives a dramatic insight into the life of Armstrong and the space mission that made him the first man on the moon. Foy plays his wife Janet. Armstrong's colleagues Michael Collins (87) and Buzz Aldrin (88) are portrayed by Lukas Haas (42) and Corey Stoll (42).
