Really? This pocket classic should be out

In fashion, it can be curse and blessing that trends come and go. However, many were sure that this bag classic will never go out of fashion. But apparently it is. Because an American market research institute, the NPD Group, has now published a study in which they have found that a particular bag in almost all age groups is no longer preferred bought: the logo bag.

Big logos are sold less

In the last twelve months, the institute has analyzed the purchasing behavior of all women under 17 to 70+. The result? Almost all age groups have barely bought bags of large logos within the last year. For the major labels such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci or Michael Kors a bitter setback, as their logo bags were the main component of their collections. By changing new chief designers (as recently with Gucci and Dior), the fashion giants have understood the change and present more and more models that are simple and show understatement.
