Caught in the Act: Eloy de Jong breaks up with the band
Once the boy band Caught in the Act ("Love Is Everywhere") consisted of four people. But now only Bastiaan Ragas (47) and Lee Baxter (48) are left. After Benjamin Boyce (50) and Eloy de Jong (46) will not be in the future with his bandmates on stage. "It's just not possible for me to reconcile family, solo career and Caught in the Act," he told the "Bild".
Ragas and Baxter "were surprised, but understood my decision". The two want to continue as a duo. "My departure will not be the end of the band because my colleagues Bas and Lee will continue and I'm sure our paths will cross again," said Eloy de Jong.
The band Caught in the Act was founded in the early 1990s. In 1998, the quartet separated. In 2015 a comeback was celebrated as a trio. Eloy de Jong brought out his hit record "Kopf aus Herz im" in 2018.
