Alleged perpetrator after murder of US rappers caught

Los Angeles police arrested the alleged gunman who allegedly killed US rapper Nipsey Hussle. He is now in police custody, the police say on Twitter. "Many thanks to our community for the increased attention and alertness and to our partners," writes the Los Angeles Police Department.

A photo and the alleged offender's name were posted on Twitter by police on Monday. The suspect had fled in a waiting vehicle. Two more people are said to have been wounded by the shots.

Two days ago, Nipsey Hussle was shot dead in front of his clothing store. In a hospital he was finally pronounced dead. Nipsey Hussle was 33 years old. On Monday night, several people were also injured in a memorial service for the US rapper: the reason for this was a mass panic.
