Actually she just wanted to travel so far in life once. In December 2006, Sabine made her dream come true and took part in a several-week journey through Botswana. But when she returned, she had packed the desire to travel and so followed in the winter of 2007 a round trip through Namibia and one through Costa Rica in March 2008.

Actually, it should then go to Mexico this year, but then everything changed: The "ChroniquesDuVasteMonde" asked the question "Who has time, four weeks to tour through New Zealand and to report on his experiences in the Weblog?". Sabine applied for the? Reisreporterin? and fell from the clouds when suddenly a mail with the subject "Congratulations on the New Zealand trip" fluttered in her e-mail inbox!

Sabine is now touring with Vikings for a total of 25 days across New Zealand, reporting on the country and its people, characters and culture as well as the great travel adventure in the country "Weitweitweg".

In "real life", the Cologne woman is employed by the city of Cologne and looks after the issues of road safety and accident prevention. Like most people in Cologne, she is quietly of the opinion that "dat Hätz vun der Welt Kölle" is, but that's another story ...
