The zoo has been closed for a long time - but animals still live here!

Animal rights activists have celebrated it as a great success when the Zoo of Buenos Aires had to be closed. The decision was made after 140 years: The attitude of wild animals is no longer current, it said. Because of this, the zoo was closed down and should be turned into an eco-park, where animals are housed, which are picked up in the wild.

Animals are still trapped in the zoo

But just under a year after the closure, little has happened. The shocking realization: Animals are still trapped in the old walls of the zoo, lonely and locked away, they live there in very bad conditions.

The animals should get a better life after all. That's what it sounded like. For birds of prey and owls, it should go to the south, to the Rio de la Plata, some animals should be brought to reserves in Argentina and almost all the wild animals that were previously in the enclosures should live in better conditions.

That so many animals live lonely and left behind in the closed zoo hurts many animal lovers. Actually, the animals should be given the freedom.

So how is it that the conditions seem to have even worsened? Answers and all the developments are in the video above. Look at it!
