R. Kelly: In a new song he expresses himself to the allegations of abuse

Singer R. Kelly (51, "I Believe I Can Fly") has for some time serious allegations in the room: He is said to have abused several women, including minors, and even a "sex cult" was the speech. Now the 51-year-old sings against it. He has released a new song, "I Admit" (in English: "I admit" or "I confess"), which is 19 minutes long. In it, he ridiculed not only the allegations, but also his alleged victims. He describes the whole thing as a "damn big conspiracy."

"I never said I was perfect"

The song starts with the words "I admit, I have some mistakes". He also sings that he has "slept with some fans" as well as older and younger ladies, "but to call it pedophile", is "crazy". Later he becomes even more explicit: "I admit, I'm not perfect, I never said I was perfect / To say, I abuse these women, what the hell is that absurd shit / brainwashed, really "/ You kidnap, really? / You can not eat, really? / Honestly, this shit sounds silly".

He also sings: "What is the definition of a cult? / What is the definition of a sex slave? / Beat it in the dictionary / Let it know me, I'm waiting here". He refers to the allegations that came up in the summer of 2017. A US Buzzfeed report said back then that he would hold women as slaves, dictate how they should dress and when they should be sexually available. He is also said to have made sextapes. That's why he was not in court so far.

The musician also sings: "I'm not convicted, I was not arrested, but my name was pulled in the dirt." He turns the tables around: "I do not follow these ladies, no / these ladies are following me". He was sorry that "everyone wants a piece of me", after all, he was "not an ATM". His message to all: "My work has nothing to do with a private life / So damn you stay out of my business and take care of your own life".

Whether this will be the case after this song remains to be seen - and to doubt.
