Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank: Stormy Dream Wedding in Windsor

Princess Eugenie, 28, and Jack Brooksbank, 32, have voted on Friday, October 12, at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. The place was the same, but the pictures did not really resemble each other, if only because, unlike at Prince Harry (34) and Meghan Markle (37) in May, stormy autumn weather caused a lot of crowded fans. But that did not spoil the mood of the bride and groom.

The entry of the bride and groom

Shortly before noon, the flower children, including Prince George (5) and Princess Charlotte (3), arrived and stumbled up the stairs. Prince Charles (69) actually appeared without Duchess Camilla (71). And just before the bride appeared, another great secret was revealed: Prince Philip (97) did not miss the wedding ceremony of his granddaughter. At the side of his wife, Queen Elizabeth II (92), he drove forward.

Then came the bride: Princess Eugenie surprised with a dress in the princess style of British designer Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos. Without lace or tulle, the focus was clearly on the wide V-neck front and the even deeper V-neck back and the elegant shoulder emphasis. The long train stopped the gusts of wind.

After the ceremony, the visibly relieved couple walked hand in hand out of the church. The many onlookers did not have to wait long for the wedding kiss. Then they climbed the magnificent carriage - unlike Harry and Meghan it was a closed variant - and drove through Windsor.

And the crowd of guests?

On the grounds of the castle, as in Prince Harry's wedding, 1200 people were invited, for example members of charitable organizations. The chapel was attended by some 800 guests, including some famous faces such as singer Ellie Goulding (31), singer James Blunt (44), actress Demi Moore (55), model Cara Delevingne (26) and musician Robbie Williams (44). They all set out for the royal reception after the wedding ceremony ...

The newlyweds

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank are said to have met eight years ago while skiing in the Swiss Alps. The queen supposedly gave her blessing two years ago. In January, Brooksbank stopped in Nicaragua for the hand of Eugenie. The two live together in an apartment in Kensington Palace.
