You need: 100 g of white cotton ("Kappa" by Langyarns, color number 707.0001), a crochet hook No. 4.5, textile pen in black and red by Rayherhobby, 1 white balloon
That's how it works: Two identical "caps" are crocheted, these are then sewn together in the middle.
Crochet 2 loops of double-stitched "hat" and crochet 6 sts in the 1st of the two loops = 1st round.
Continue crocheting 2 rounds, doubling each stitch until there are 24 stitches. In the following = 4th round double every 2nd stitch = 36 stitches.
Continue: 5th round: doubles every 4 sts = 45 sts, 6th sts out 4 sts up = 49 sts, 7th through 9th rounds spread 3 sts each round = 58 sts, 10th and 11th st hands out each round Increase 2 stitches = 62 stitches, split 12th to 14th round, increase 1 stitch = 65 stitches, 15 th to 19 th rounds do not increase anymore.
Sew both "hats" together with a double thread in the middle and leave a slit of approx. 2 cm open. Insert the balloon through this slot and inflate it.
If the ball is plump, the end of the balloon is twisted several times and pushed through the slot between balloon and crochet cover. Paint the ball with black dots (diameter 5 cm), paint a black circle around each dot and then draw a semicircle in red around each dot, which gets a bit thicker in the middle - ready for the kickoff!
