Sarah Jessica Parker: Is "Sex and the City 3" finally off the table?

Sarah Jessica Parker, 53, is currently not considering a third Sex and the City movie. "It's not something we're talking about, I just do not know," the actress told Variety. Although fans are looking forward to a new streak, Parker is not the only one who does not believe in new stories about her character Carrie Bradshaw.

Cynthia Nixon (52), who played Miranda Hobbes, and Kristin Davis (53), aka Charlotte York, have already stated that another movie is unlikely. Kim Cattrall (62, Samantha Jones) also said openly that she did not want to play in a possible sequel.

No fight between the stars

"It's true that we can not make a third movie," Davis had announced on Instagram. "I wish we could have made the final chapter on our own terms to complete the stories of our characters." It was "deeply frustrating" not to share this with the fans, the actress said. It is rumored that the project was canceled shortly before the start of filming.

However, Parker had also stated that there was no dispute between the "SATC" co-stars, not even between her and Cattrall. In an interview with "Extra," the 53-year-old said, "If anyone else calls this thing a bitch war ... I'm not in a fight." She "never quarreled with Kim," she added.

The popular TV series of four New York women and their experiences ran from 1998 to 2004. Altogether there are six seasons with 94 episodes as well as the two movies "Sex and the City - the film" (2008) and "Sex and the City 2 "(2010).

Sarah Jessica Parker confirms no Sex and the City 3 - Hollywood TV (May 2024).
