In 2008 and 2010, it reliably prophesied the winners of (almost) all games with German participation.

What is an oracle?
The mysterious word "oracle" derives from the Latin word "oraculum", which means "divine spell" in German. What is meant is that one asks higher powers beyond the everyday reality and receives from them an answer to burning questions of life. Sometimes, as with the famous oracle of Delphi, the place is also meant to be prophesied.
Oracle: That's how it works
For an oracle, you need a special medium or a special ritual that gives you a pointing sign. The medium can be a simple "yes-no-maybe" dice from the Christmas market, but it really only answers to simple yes-no questions. Or a pendulum whose circular or line-shaped vibrations point the questioner in a certain direction.
Particularly popular is the oracle of fortune telling cards, which include tarot, Lenormand or Kipper cards, but also simple skat cards, angel cards and rune oracles or I-Ging oracle in card form. These cards are either drawn individually to a specific question or as a day ticket for the short-term forecast, or spread out according to a specific placement system in which the position of the card gives it a fixed meaning.
