Liam Gallagher: This threat from Brother Noel has it all

The separation from Oasis is now ten years, but the brothers Liam (46, "Wall Of Glass") and Noel Gallagher (51, "Holy Mountain") make even today headlines. The reason: they can not stand each other. In the near future, their quarrel could even end up in court. While Liam is currently working on a documentary about his career, his brother Noel does not seem to make it easy for him.

As the 46-year-old announced himself via Twitter on Monday, Noel should have warned him, in the strip "As It Was" to fall back on Oasis material. If he does, he will sue him. The little brother probably did not expect that. He writes in the short message service: "I have just been informed that I am being sued by the not so powerful little guy and his idiots [...] Who is bitter here?"

In another tweet, Liam also speculates that Noel is looking for the charity concert "One Love Manchester" by Ariana Grande (25, "7 rings"). There, the 46-year-old had performed in 2017 together with Coldplay the Oasis classic "Live Forever" and then publicly apologized for the absence of his brother, including verbal abuse.

Does he listen to his brother?

The documentary "As It Was" is about his musical rise as well as his comeback after the separation from Oasis, as Liam 2018 had announced in a statement. The recordings would not only show the musician "writing and recording my first solo album," but also picking up those shows that "I'm playing for the first time in my hometown of Manchester and around the world." The moving "One Love" concert in front of 50,000 people should definitely be among the highlights.

It is not unlikely that songs from the former band will be featured in the film despite Noel's warning. On stage, Liam still sings regular Oasis classics like "Wonderwall" or "Supersonic" - all of which his brother has written. So far, this did not bother the 51-year-old, as he receives royalties for every song that Liam plays for him. He commented on the topic in 2017 with the words: "I see that philosophically, I'm here and doing my thing, he's there and he's also doing my thing." Now the big Gallagher brother seems to see the situation with different eyes.

Noel accuses Liam of ‘threatening’ wife (April 2024).
