Lindsey and Matt Paradiso were really looking forward to their first baby. Her little girl was supposed to be Omara. The couple from Virginia shared their happiness with the whole world - from the first pregnancy test to the first babybump photos. But then their world collapsed: doctors discovered a tumor on the neck of the unborn child!

Lindsey and Matt could not believe it at first - but they did not lose the hope that her little daughter will get help after the birth and get well again.

The tumor spread more and more

In the 23rd week of pregnancy, the doctors then brought them the terrible news: The condition of their little ones had deteriorated drastically. On Facebook, Lindsey writes: "This is the end of a wanted pregnancy, it's a late abortion, it was not wanted, it was not a way out, it was not a birth control, it was heartbreaking."

I am so thankful that we have come to terms with the pregnancy on our terms and were able to say goodbye to her. I could not imagine ...

They could say goodbye

When Lindsey gave birth to her Omara, it was found that the tumor had spread almost all over her baby's body. When Lindsey and Matt held their little girl in their arms, they had to say goodbye to her directly. It was the first and last time with her Omara. But Lindsey is grateful that they could say goodbye to her: "I can not imagine not having had the chance to see her or to hold her in the arms."
