Freddie Prinze Junior: This is the new role of the actor

In recent years, Freddie Prinze Jr. (43, "One Like No One") has become rather quiet about acting. That could change very soon. According to the industry magazine "Variety", he was hired to star in a US station "The CW" developed pilot for a "Nancy Drew" series.

Prinze Jr. is said to play the father of the eponymous heroine, known in the US thanks to numerous books, filming and video games for decades and enjoys cult status. Drew is a teenage detective who is expected to solve a tricky case in the new pilot as well.
