Premiere for all Marvel fans! "Avengers: Endgame" will be the longest movie in Marvel history. The much-anticipated sequel to the superhero adventure will take a whopping 182 minutes - three hours and two minutes. Thus, the second round against Thanos captivates the moviegoers about 30 minutes longer than their predecessor "Avengers: Infinity War" to their chairs.

However, the news that the new superhero strip is more than twice the length of a conventional movie does not come as a surprise. The directors Joe and Anthony Russo had already announced in November 2018 that the then current cut of the film would take in about three hours. The exact term was accidentally published by the US cinema operator AMC.



"Avengers: Endgame" also marks the conclusion of Marvel's "Infinity Saga", marking the climax of a total of 22 films from the Marvel Universe.
