But the actress, who became famous for her role as Vice President in "Veep", is combative and writes that luckily she gets a lot of support from friends and family - and has good health insurance.
One reason for her to make an appeal to politics, because health insurance in America is far from being as comprehensive as here in Germany. She writes, "The bad news is that not all women have such good conditions, so let's fight cancer and get health insurance for everyone!"
