How rope jumping helps you to get a six pack
The secret of a taut stomach
Abdominal training alone does not lead you to the desired six-pack, the fat burning must be boosted. As Brandon Epstein, co-founder of "Zen Dude Fitness," explains in an interview with "Elite Daily," a daily 45-minute workout and abdominal training is not enough. Much more important is the combination of diet and exercise.
The secret: 90 percent of the six-pack success depends on how many calories you take each day and how many you use of it through exercise. It is therefore important to burn more calories than you take in on the food and drinks. The other 10 percent are filled with exercises that burn the fat fast? Jump rope for example!
Jump rope: Burn the number one in fat
By comparison, in a regular workout, you burn around 85 to 150 calories in 15 minutes, while jumping rope creates around 250 calories at the same time. However, due to an effect called Post-Exercise Oxygen Deficiency, your body consumes calories even after jumping. A 15-minute jump rope session can thus claim around 400 calories, according to Epstein.
Important: 30 seconds are trained with high intensity rope, 10 seconds rest, 30 seconds training ... and so on. Here are a few examples of what exercises you can do to get a six-pack.
