Adoptive mother runs away screaming - and a great love begins

Actually, Baby Abigail should now live with her adoptive parents in Georgia. Instead, the little girl cuddles in the arms of her biological mom.

Everything had been planned differently. When Christina Fisher learned she was pregnant last year, she did not feel able to raise a child. The 36-year-old already had an 18-year-old daughter and the money was short. She had no relationship with the baby's father. As she told the newspaper? Northwest Florida Daily News? she was "more or less homeless towards the end of the pregnancy."

An abortion was out of the question

An abortion was out of the question for her. Christina decided to release her child for adoption. An agency quickly found a family in Georgia. Christina had regular contact with the adoptive parents and sent them ultrasound pictures.

The adoptive parents traveled to Oregon on the 11th of January to fly to Florida in order to be able to embrace and take their child with them. But when the adoptive mother saw her baby, she ran away screaming and was never seen again.

"I can not imagine my life without her?

The little Abigail has the Treacher-Collins syndrome, which leads to malformations on the face. But the doctors discovered the hereditary disease only after birth. In pregnancy, all tests had been unremarkable. "Nothing was found, they just told me that their ears are a bit small," says Christine.

Unlike the adoptive mother, Christina immediately fell in love with her baby. Today she is overjoyed to have Abigail with her. "I took it as a sign that she belongs to me," said Christina, "and now she is my heart. I can not imagine my life without her.?

The adoption agency has deleted the parents from the file.
