Will "Fifty Shades of Gray" be romantic?
What's that for a new "Shades of Gray" trailer? Since it became known that the novel trilogy "Shades of Gray" by the British author E. L. James is filmed, the fan base discusses the filming of soft porn. A hot topic, of course, was the choice of the two main actors. The novels deal with the relationship between the student Anastasia Steele and the six-year-old entrepreneur and billionaire Christian Gray - and his sexual preferences. And now?Now there was a new trailer at the Golden Globes that reveals more about the movie.
Not so mysterious: What's new? The trailer is sexy - but also amazingly romantic.
Um. What? Do not worry, the film has not been rewritten at the last second into a Hugh Grant comedy. Of course, there is plenty of sex to see and tingling games with blindfolds, shackles and other things. But aside from his abdominal muscles, billionaire Christian Gray also reveals a bit of his soul life. He considers himself heartless and had a difficult start in life. Towards the end of the trailer, it turns out that "heartless" was probably a lie.
And otherwise? It gets really serious with us and the billionaire: The trailer presents us to Christian Gray's mother, played by TV series star Marcia Gay Harden.
What is the resonance? As always, the reactions to the trailer are mixed. From nervous anticipation over criticism of the "smooth" staging to bored voices that can not understand the success of their opinion prudish novels anyway and find the film even more desolate. Most of all, the two leading actors heat up the minds of the audience - especially Jamie Dornan. Is he sexy and masculine enough to play Christian Gray? Can he - together with his film partner Dakota Johnson - implement the atmosphere of the novels?
And how does the trailer sound? The trailer uses again the song to the movie, which Megastar Beyoncé contributed. It's a new version of their hit "Crazy in Love", especially shot for the movie. This is amazing in that just a new "Shades of Gray" title song was announced by singer Ellie Goulding.
What's next? If you want to see "Fifty Shades of Gray" on screen, you have to be patient. Theatrical release in Germany is the 12.02.2015.
