Westworld: Vincent Cassel moves to the Sci-Fi Wild West

Look at one, the already well-known HBO series cast "Westworld" has become a star richer. The French characterime Vincent Cassel (52) will be part of the third season of the unusual mix of science fiction and Western, as the US-American side "Variety" reports.

Cassel is thus after Lena Waithe (34) and "Breaking Bad" star Aaron Paul (39) already the third new entry for the upcoming season. However, as with his new colleagues, there is still absolute silence about his role. Stars from the previous two seasons include Evan Rachel Wood (31), Ed Harris (68), Anthony Hopkins (81), Tessa Thompson (35), Thandie Newton (46), Jeffrey Wright (53) and James Marsden (45 ), to name just a few.

"Westworld" roughly tells the story of the movie of the same name by Michael Crichton from 1973, in which the human-like robots of a Wild West amusement park rebel and run amok. For a much more existentialist impact than the prototype is responsible for the series Jonathan Nolan (42). The brother of director Christopher Nolan (48) wrote with wife Lisa Joy the script of the series.

Although the production of season three of the elaborate series has already started, according to the report, it is nevertheless not expected to broadcast before 2020.
