The oldest twins in the world - inseparable for 103 years!

Florence Davies and Gleny's Thomas from Caerphilly in Wales, UK, say they have a simple life. And from the outside, that may look like this: they both can not drive a car and they never left their region. And yet their life is special - because the twins have been inseparable for over 100 years.

The two women were born in November 1911. Who would like to classify this: This was a few months before in April 1912 the Titanic sunk. The twins have experienced two world wars, building a European Union and so much more. But no matter what happened in the world, it was important for them to be together.

Her father was a simple miner and loved to make toys for his daughters. The mother sewed the clothes for her daughters themselves. They all went to church regularly and got involved in the village. And that's exactly what distinguishes the two today: modesty and mutual help.

In 1932, the first separation came when Glenys married. But the spatial distance did not last long. A daughter of Glenys reveals, "The twins were so terribly missed when my mother had to leave her family home, they shared a room until she got married, but Aunt Fo just followed and bought a house next to her sister."

Florence also married two years later. Their husbands are already dead, but the twins are still alive. Together they come to five children, twelve grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Meanwhile, the two live together in a nursing home because they have dementia. The world slowly disappears on her memory. But they still ask one after another. True sister love.
