The Crown: Helena Bonham Carter transforms into Princess Margaret

Fans of the Netflix series "The Crown" can now take a first look at Helena Bonham Carter (52) as Princess Margaret (1930-2002). In the third season of the hit format, the actress mimics the sister of the Queen. A photo of Bonham Carter can be seen on the series' official Twitter account. Then she wears a classic updo and holds a cigarette in her hand. Vanessa Kirby, 30, played Princess Margaret in the first two seasons.

The plot of the new episodes - the series tells the life of the Queen to the present - begins in the mid-1960s. Topics include the rise of the Beatles and England's legendary victory in the 1966 World Cup. Camilla Parker Bowles (71), the former lover and today's wife of Prince Charles (69), is to appear for the first time, including " Deadline "reports. Olivia Colman, 44, plays Queen Elizabeth II in the third and fourth seasons, replacing Claire Foy (34).
