Fingernails: care for beautiful nails
No question, there is always a bit of manual work before every application of paint. We'll tell you step by step how to prepare your fingernails perfectly for painting. And best of all, you do not have to spend much more than half an hour on this manicure.
Step 1: Get down!
First, remove the old paint. Best with mild nail polish removers containing nourishing wheat germ extract or panthenol
Step 2: Ran to the cuticle
Soak the fingernails in warm water for about five minutes, dry well and, if necessary, leave cuticle remover to work briefly. Carefully push the cuticle back with a wooden stick or towel. Never cut around the cuticle, it can ignite or tear.
Step 3: In best form
Now it is cut and filed - preferably with a fine sandpaper or diamond file. Important: Always from the outside to the nail center, do not file back and forth, otherwise the nails may split.
Step 4: So that the painting runs smoothly
For a smooth nail surface provides a special suede pillow or a polishing file. Because the smoother the nails, the longer the paint will last.
Step 5: Extra care
Brittle fingernails still need some care, for example a massage with a nail oil or a nail cream. The caring with many vitamins. But then wait a few hours with the painting, because the oily surface does not mix well with nail polish, it peels off quickly.
Step 6: For the impatient
Practical for those in a hurry, nail polishes, which cover perfectly after application. This is ensured by tiny little pigments that form an extremely colorful layer on the nails. Also for the impatient are varnishes intended to let the color dry quickly
Step 7: That stops!
Some paints strengthen the fingernails with calcium and silicon, which at the same time increase the durability. Bioceramics, a mineral substance based on marine algae, makes fingernails more resistant to every coat - and the varnish lasts up to a week.
