SWR sends Commissioner Klara Blum into retirement

The "crime scene" carousel turns again. This time it meets the investigators of Lake Constance "crime scene". For the actors Eva Mattes and Sebastian Bezzel 2016 is over. This was announced by the responsible station Südwestrundfunk (SWR). "After fourteen successful years together of the two great actors and the station with the 'crime scene' from Constance, we will then say goodbye to him," writes the SWR in his official statement.

Since 2004, Mattes and Bezzel have been investigating together as Principal Commissioner Klara Blum and Criminal Commissioner Kai Perlmann in Konstanz, before Mattes had spent two years alone hunting for criminals. Until 2016 fans can look forward to four new cases with the two investigators, which will air in 2015 and 2016. The next episode will be shown on February 8, 2015 and is titled "Château Mort".

Lead actress Mattes said to the "Tatort" -Ous: "I like my Klara Blum very much and I'm very close to her, especially since I have wonderful crime scene partners with whom I love to play together again and again, but it's time to say goodbye to finding and to conquer something new. "

For the Lake Constance "crime scene" there should be a replacement. "We've gone through a number of different ways to develop the Blum crime scene, and finally, the development of a new 'crime scene' just seemed more appropriate to us," said SWR TV director Martina Zöllner.

The reviews of the "crime scene" from Konstanz with Mattes and Bezzel were not good in the end. Will you miss the "crime scene" investigators from Lake Constance? Write us in the comment field!
