21 Savage: Released temporarily from deportation detention

For ten long days, rapper 21 Savage (26, "21 Gang") was in detention in the south of the state of Georgia and is now free - temporarily. As "TMZ" reports, the authorities released him from custody, but a deportation is not yet off the table. The portal also published a picture of the musician together with his mother in front of a private jet, which apparently brought him to his adopted home of Atlanta.

21 Savage was arrested when entering the US because he had no valid papers and his US visa had expired for many years. This confirmed the US immigration office. What the public did not know by then: He is a British citizen who entered the United States in 2005 with a short visa and has been living there illegally since 2006. Numerous artists, including Post Malone (23) and Kendrick Lamar (31), have been campaigning for 21 Savage remaining in the United States in recent days.
