After the wedding with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle seems to have arrived fully in the royal family. The new Duchess mastered her first official appointment at the side of the Queen with flying colors. Meghan obviously had fun with the queen, as did Kate a few years before her. But are the 92-year-old and the ex-actress really so close or is sister-in-law Kate ahead of the pack? A body language expert has analyzed the scenes.

Kate and the Queen are friends

Therefore, Kate has a distinct advantage: she knew Prince William and his family for many years, before the two gave the yes.

Kate was always like the fish in the water. She had more access to role models for her new role. The Queen is therefore relaxed next to Kate.

Over the years, a relaxed and close friendship between the Duchess of Cambridge and the Monarch is said to have developed. The Queen always enjoys the public appearances with Kate.

The relationship with Meghan has yet to mature

Everything is still very fresh with Meghan. The nervousness of the 36-year-olds is often written in the face. However, the body language expert is sure that Queen Elizabeth also sympathizes with her.

The Queen has a mother-daughter relationship with Meghan. There is still a long way to go before they have built a friendship.



However, the 92-year-old always tries to take away the fear of Meghan, by showing open her happy side. Still, the New Duchess is still too insecure and not nearly as confident as Kate.



Meghan has yet to grow into her new role. And until then it does not hurt to take one or the other away from her sister-in-law.
