Perfume: The new Crime series is finally online
The series "Parfum" will be broadcast starting this Wednesday. Who at the title of the novel "The Perfume: The Story of a Murderer" (1985) of the German writer Patrick Süskind (69) or its international cinema adaptation from 2006 by director Tom Tykwer (53) and producer and screenwriter Bernd Eichinger (1949-2011) feels reminded, is not entirely wrong.
The lavishly produced six-part Crime series is also about a brutal series of murders, the mystery of human fragrance and the essence of love. In contrast to the historical formats, however, it is located in 2018 on the rather inhospitable Niederrhein.
That's what the series is all about
A woman's corpse, with the entire red hair removed, is found in the swimming pool of her home. The dead was once the center of a boarding school clique.

Is it worth switching on?
Yes, because the series is topped to the smallest minor role. It is exciting, dark, brutal, shocking, disturbing, mysterious, full of interpersonal abysses and lovelessness. The images of violence are not told, they are created in the mind of the viewer. The two narrative levels are not only extremely aesthetically filmed, with different footage, the changes are also easy to understand.
When and where can I see the show?
The new six-part crime series "Parfum" will be shown from today's Wednesday (14 November, 22 clock) in double episodes at ZDFneo. In the media library of the station are also from 22 clock even all episodes in one piece to see - in early 2019, the series also runs on ZDF. The secondary exploitation rights have been secured by Netflix.
