Mud fight between Mel B & her ex escalates!

One might have thought that the Rose War between Mel B (42, "Totally Fit") and Stephen Belafonte (42) could come to an end so slowly, but that is far from that. Even after their divorce last December, a mud fight continues to rage that is unparalleled.

It's all about visiting Belafonte, who would like to see his stepdaughter Angel (10). Angel's birth father is Eddie Murphy (56, "The Prince of Zamunda"), but the comedian does not seem to care about the girl at all.

"Angel has called me dad since she can speak"

The Belafonte claimed now also before a court in Los Angeles, how the "Daily Mail" reports. According to the producer, among other things, the producer has stated that Angel "called me dad since she started speaking."

Belafontes lawyer had therefore tried to contact Murphy, but the lawyers had just let just that he was "not interested". The actor has "no contact" with the child - nor does he intend to appear in court.

Trauma for the little one?

Just recently, the fight between the two had almost escalated. Mel B had called Belafonte not only in court as a "bad man" and violent. The singer also alleged that producer Stepdaughter Angel and co-daughter Madison (6), for whom they share custody, allegedly showed ISIS beheading videos. Belafonte called the accusation "hair-raising and alarming" and vehemently denied to have presented clips. Previously, the 42-year-old had claimed, among other things, that Mel B had in return alcohol and drug problems.

Belafonte explained that he gave Madison a teddy bear and other toys for Angel. Brown, however, noticed this and threw the toys away before Angel could accept them. He firmly believes that the singer's decision to separate him and Angel without warning is "emotionally traumatizing and harmful to Angel's mental health and well-being."

The thing with the house

Also in terms of finances, there were new problems in court. Actually, Belafonte and Mel B had agreed to jointly pay for a renovation for their former home in Los Angeles, in order to then also share the proceeds of the sale of the property.

While Belafonte had paid his part of the $ 20,000 required for the renovation, the singer has refused. Therefore, it has now been warned by the judge that Mel B should finally pay her part of $ 10,000. It is estimated that the sale of the property could bring between six and seven million dollars.

De-escalating junk behavior (April 2024).
