Make calendars yourself and fill them with memories
When I was asked, what is my very special gift tip, I did not have to think twice:
In my opinion homemade gifts are the best thing to give away. When you give a gift to someone you are very close to, I always like it when the gifts remind you of the time together. The actually "tinkered" does not have to be a big effort. My favorite: a self-made calendar with photos and personal anecdotes:
How it works?
1. Get a self-made calendar to your liking. They come in many different sizes and colors. A large selection can be found on Amazon: click! I opted for this one. I favor black models, because you can label these beautiful and aufhübschen.
2. The agony of choice: Decide on matching photos for each month. For example, I always do it by arranging the photos for the same-time events from last year, because that (as I think) fits best, but of course that does not have to be. Then you should come up with a "calendar theme". Should all pictures be colorful, black and white or sepia? Do you stick two large photos on one page or do you print smaller ones, but several? If you have come up with a concept, print out or let your photos develop in the appropriate size. P.S .: Of course, I would not give anyone a calendar full of photos of me, let alone full of blog pictures, of course I just do that on the collage as an example :) 3. Sticks the pictures with photo corners on the calendar for a particularly good stop. The one from the collage you get here. If the photos then stick on the calendar, this is indeed very presentable, but still lacks "that certain something".
4. Therefore, I would recommend to treat it with a few trifles. Quite suitable, if you write with a silver or gold pen or funny anecdotes to the photos. You can get the pins from the collage here. If the calendar still looks a little bleak then you can add some more to it by decorating it with other materials. For example, in my collage you will find glitter and printed paper. And ... Done is the personal, self-designed calendar! I've already given away such a calendar a few times and the recipients have always been happy, especially because they have something of the gift all year long.
