Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson: He is the strongest man in Europe for the fifth time

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson (30), most known as "The Mountain" from the HBO series "Game of Thones", is the strongest man in Europe - for the fifth time. The Icelander once again won the strongman competition "Europe's Strongest Man" after his triumphs in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018. The 2.05 meter tall and around 180 kg heavy Björnsson is also the reigning "World's Strongest Man".

Since the fourth season in August 2013, Björnsson plays the role of Gregor Clegane, better known as "The Mountain", on "Game of Thrones". Previously, Björnsson was a successful basketball player who even played in the Icelandic national team. However, due to a serious knee injury at the age of 20, he had to end his career.
