Gift Bags: Pretty Case

Jeannette vom DaWanda-Shop Colorful on-board treasures has a few tips on how to design beautiful gift bags.

What you need for the gift bags:

  • Packing paper bags without handles
  • cake doily
  • wallflower
  • Black paper
  • Red paper
  • Thin gold cord
  • stamp
  • Masking Tape (colored tape)

The material can vary. Just have a look which variants of the packaging you like the most and which material you need.

Gift bags:

Take a bag and stick the top with the red paper. Cut the cake tip so that it fits the red paper. The white forms a very nice contrast to the red. Underneath, stick a strip of white masking tape and stamp it with a motif of your choice. If you like Christmas, it's best to use red stamping ink.

You want to attach a handle? To do this, punch the bag with an ordinary punch at the top edge. Take strong paper tape, thread a few beads on it and thread it through the holes. Inside a knot in - done!

Try your own variations!

Gift Wrapping:

This variant looks nobler, but is also a little more elaborate. First put the cake topping on the black paper. Spray the paint over the holes and along the tips. Pick up the sprayed black paper for later.

Now cut out the gold-sprayed lace edge along the pattern and stick it on the black wrapping paper (which has not been sprayed yet). It works best when the gift is already packed and then you stick the tip on it at the end.

Now wrap with a thin gold cord and stamp as desired.

For bottle packaging, take the covered sprayed paper and wrap it in it. You can wrap it around with a gold cord and stamp it.
