Moritz Hemminger, jury spokesman, said: "'Werk ohne Autor' tells a moving epic tale of a moving artist fate in post-war Germany at a time when it was difficult to find one's own artificial language from a grandiose cast of actors, great poetic moments and, at the same time, exploring an essential, still up-to-date question: finding your own attitude. "

The story of the film spans three eras, is inspired by true events and portrays the life of artist Kurt (Tom Schilling). Also starring Paula Beer and Sebastian Koch. On 4 September, the film will celebrate its premiere at the Venice Film Festival, which has been launched since yesterday. Whether the film really is nominated for the Oscar by the Academy, but has yet to show. In 2007, there was the golden boy for his Stasi drama "The Lives of Others".
