Fischland, Darß, Zingst
A wildly romantic hook that stretches right behind Rostock in the sea. Unrestrained, one walks to the twilight on the Hohe Ufer in Ahrenshoop, which not only adorns itself with the term artist colony: every year on the first Saturday in August, international art is auctioned here, for more than 25 years. Young artists live as scholarship holders in the village, and a regulars' table regularly invites everyone. Darß vacationers can practice a special discipline: gallery tours. Sculptors and ceramists like to look over their shoulders in their workshops and studios and also sell their favorite pieces.
It is also exclusive in the boutique at Radszuweit, but of course Kashmir is far too fine for the march through the Darß forest. On the way to the legendary West-Strand or even further to the Darßer place meet more East Frisian and ore Troyer on brown skin. Happy ruffled cyclists roll with Rollerbladern to the bet on the dyke of Ahrenshoop to Zingst. All people who appreciate the luxury of pure air and clear water.

Weststrand Ahrenshoop: mostly quite empty, because only by foot or by bike through the forest. From the car park Drei Eichen behind Ahrenshoop. High shore Ahrenshoop: Up and down stroll romantics, who pushes aside the pebbles, has a mooring on its own. Prerow: especially white and wide, water sports and animation, banana riding, water skiing, sailing school. Zingst: from the harbor boat trips to Rügen and Hiddensee.
