Alfred Biolek: So his TV comeback at the "Kölner Treff"

It was a touching performance that Alfred Biolek (84) put down in the talk show "Kölner Treff" (WDR). Actually, the former show size had abjured the television cameras about twelve years ago. But for the show, which he himself devised and moderated from 1976 to 1980, he made on Friday evening an exception. With a much gentler voice but in good health he talked about his dazzling past and his new everyday life.

Whether he misses the show hype but something and how he looks back on him, moderator Bettina Böttinger (62) wanted to know, whereupon Biolek replied: "With sadness and joy, I do not know what more." But he is now in an age in which he has concluded with it: "I'm just old, I accept that and I'm not bad." In the meantime, he would not be able to cook for himself, nor would he cut the onions and carrots. And the beloved wine has been alcohol free for many years.

And even on the subject of death Biolek proved his humor of younger days. Because of course he deals with it now, but: "The fact that I'm 84 and still not died, is great!"

Alfred Biolek kehrt zum "Kölner Treff" zurück (May 2024).
