Alec Baldwin: That's why he had Guillermo del Toro wait

Hilaria Baldwin, 35, is apparently well in control of her husband Alec Baldwin (61, "Getaway"). When she calls, he talks - even though he's in the middle of an interview with an Oscar-winning director. That's what happened at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York. Baldwin was interviewing Guillermo del Toro (54, "Pacific Rim") in front of a live audience, according to "Page Six", when his phone rang.

Del Toro was just philosophizing that he likes to shoot monster movies because they are "multicolored". Jokingly, Baldwin interrupted the director and asked, "Can you call my wife right now?" As if Hilaria had a sixth sense for such matters, she called her husband just then. "Honey, I'm on the stage in front of hundreds of people," her husband said before handing the phone to del Toro. In turn, Hilaria then declared, "Alec is multicolored." The somewhat absurd scene ended, allegedly, when Baldwin got his phone back and said goodbye to his wife.
